𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙰𝚁𝙰𝙽𝙲𝙴:Fortis is a humanoid that is much closer to that of Seafolk or an Amphibian/Aquatic being. Having a round face that contrasts his stocky, muscular build. Lacking his original arms, which are replaced with energy constructs decorated with stripes(officially known as Soul Bands).His style is mostly casual. Sporting a dark tank top, jeans, and construction boots. Anything any more complex may feel awkward for summoning his arms in.𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙿𝙾𝚂𝙸𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽:Piomen: An amphibious race that are primary land dwellers, they are akin to frogs. In which their juvenile stage has gills, and shed such traits for lungs later on in life. They maintain an affinity to water however, being able to hold it for 1 1⁄2 hours and a natural ability to swim. They are able to thrive in humid or dry and cold climates(if large bodies of water are nearby).Their race is particularly known to adapt fairly quickly, being rumored to have been exiled from the ocean after a great war with the Mermen on planet Toibol. Leaving them to stay on the continents.The average Pioman grows to 5'5", but may vary due to obvious genetics that may increase or decrease this size. With a lifespan that ranges between 80 and 120 years. Despite these supposedly set perimeters, it is noted that they grow larger if predators frequent their habitat. Their skin, while seemingly smooth, is covered by dermal denticles which point to their aquatic ancestors. Allowing them to reduce drag within water, and granting them a quieter approach if they so desire. They are omnivores, but primarily consume smaller fish, shrimp and other small aquatic life. Due to him being a mutant from being forced to adapt to his super-powered organ, he has outgrew and excelled from many factors applying to such a race.Golden Heart: Fortis was blessed with a divine organ known as the Golden Heart. Specifically, a fragment of a deity's heart now completes the entirety of his heart. This tethers him to the original Avatar of Infinity, a Cosmic Golem known as Dread. The fragment acts as a window to infinity, one of the major building blocks of his multiverse. The reason a mortal such as he was given this fragment is unknown, but he is being trained to hunt down entities known as Universe Cancers as a way to hone this fragment of phenomenal power. Despite this he is not invulnerable, as evidence to his lack of arms. As the infinity may threaten to engulf him into it's vastness, had he acted too bold while harnessing it's divine nature.The Infinity: while the initial use of this power is to create, Fortis uses his fragment to channel this limitless pool of primordial essence. When activated, his arms become a shimmering gold and are wrapped with with silver bands that conver his usual blue and off-white energy. This signals that he is activating the Golden Heart's latent potential, as well as the dangers associated with it from the unnatural use. By doing so his form represents an avatar of infinity, acting as a physical vessel for it.Mortal Zenith: Adapting to such an anomalous core has enhanced his abilities far beyond that of the common mortal. Even without tapping into the Golden Heart fragment; Fortis has supernatural strength, agility, and all six senses that are paired with dealing with something on such a vastly superior plane of existence.𝙰𝙱𝙸𝙻𝙸𝚃𝙸𝙴𝚂:Spirit Control: thanks to his heightened vessel, Fortis houses great potential for his soul's ability. This includes manipulation of Spirit Energy/Barrier Energy(aura produced by his soul), Life energy(what is essentially his true essence), and Infinity(sourced by the heart fragment). Many other attributes include reinforcing himself with said energy or amplifying his techniques with each form. All his abilities pull from one of these pools of energy, triggering various differences and potency.Soul Constructs: Using the energy of his soul, Fortis is able to create objects from his conscious and subconscious. A primary example is to replace his long lost limbs, both arms are subconsciously projected in order to adapt to his disability. When he is no longer maintaining a surplus of power, these projections trail like a haze if forced out. Much until he recovers.Anxiety paired with such ability causes his shoulder-pauldrons to project without control. Triggering spikes to protrude if he senses danger is near, perceives someone(s) as a threat, or is in fear.Soul Bands: are the off-white strips that line his constructs, but more importantly his soul. It is a literal bind that keeps him intact, giving him leverage against soul destroying or soul altering attacks. He also naturally reinforces these bands to act as a filter for his Golden Heart, converting infinity into barrier energy to avoid being consumed by the neverending pool he may dive from time to time. While permanently activated, it is subject to break had the infinity gone awry. This is also why Fortis has 'limited' energy to use on a daily basis, it is moreso to contain himself rather than being completely exhausted.Clairvoyance: an additional function of his unlocked soul, is to perceive beyond the mortal plane with his sixth sense. He is also able to physically touch, interact, and communicate with these entities that may fall under this jurisdiction.SKILLS:Infinite Punch: an inherented ability from his predecessor, Dread, that calls upon the window of infinity for a finishing blow. By using this insurmountable abundance, he is able to infinitely relay the initial strike to purify his target into the summoned infinity. If used recklessly or missed, would instead target himself to be fueled into the vastness. As are his aforementioned arms, replaced by constructs. They serve as a constant reminder that it is no toy or simple tool for a mere mortal.Finite Punch: not dissimilar to the previous, aside from using the infinity. This includes any charged punched that is reinforced by that of barrier or spirit energy. Much like the Infinite Punch, he may relay his impact more than once, but that entirely depends on the amount siphoned by the punch.Blue Spike: a destructive wave of energy that is propelled from his body, seeking to consume the opponent by his immense power. The more energy poured, scales the potency and attack potential of this attack.Duplication: with the vast amount of energy, Fortis is able to replicate himself to perform varying tasks. Primarily for combat, these alternates serve as a way to distract and perform combinations that may prove easier for multiple people. The forms of this may range from energy constructs to flesh(this requires infinity).Hyper/Sonic Scream: with his mutant body, there has been new limits broken. Such as the ability of projecting himself to reach high-pitch frequency and vocals harsh enough to project force that may stall attacks, hinder, or destroy a given target. Much like the rest of his abilities, this attack is scaled by what pool of energy he is pulling from.Teleportation: Fortis is able to willingly send himself toward a preferred area in space, this is also an ability of infinity. It allows him to navigate through the vastness of it and therefore other planes in existence, as avatar of infinity.Atmosphere Creation: while Fortis is able to gain necessary sustainability from his core, he is able to use his energy to develop a habitable atmosphere. This is more so for his race, but it is perfect for humans as well.
